In Zaire, Africa, soul legends James Brown, B.B. King, the Spinners and others perform in a three-day concert preceding 1974’s “Rumble in the Jungle” boxing match between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman. Among the songs performed are “Soul Power,” “One of a Kind (Love Affair),” “The Click Song” and “Payback.” Pre-show Soul and R& B music by Raun Ruffin and the Sons of Funk at 7:30pm.
Food and drink is available for purchase at the venue. Capacity is currently limited to 200 people and admission is free only with RSVP ticket. Unclaimed tickets will be released to the walk-up wait list ten minutes before the film starts. Walk-ups will then be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating for 80 people will be provided, but you can also bring your own blankets and folding chairs if you prefer.
