Check back regularly for more events in Inwood and be sure to spread the word about those you’re interested in attending. The more people we can get to these events, the more exposure local artists will get — something that’s always our goal. Unless otherwise noted, events are free.

Live’n’Local: Unigen & James Ignao
March 23, 2018 @ 7:30 pm
Unigen is the one-man band project of percussionist/composer Luke Folger. Using a mobile MIDI instrument suit resembling a jetpack, Unigen can often be seen and heard on NYC’s streets and subway platforms performing his anthemic electronic pop songs, which sound sort of like a 90s emo teen raised by parents Peter Gabriel and Imogen heap.
Scottish native Jamie Ignao is a Washington Heights-based opera singer, music teacher and dialect coach. His student roster studies numerous guitar styles, bass, voice, and music theory. He performs at various venues throughout Manhattan and is lead guitarist for Heights band Coyote Love.
Show curated by Jonathan Bell for Inwood Art Works. Seating is extremely limited. You may bring wine, beer, soda, snacks for consumption in the lounge outside the Chapel. No food or drink in the Chapel.
