FILM WORKS ALFRESCO at the HISPANIC SOCIETY
Join us in celebration of Hispanic Heritiage Month for a free outdoor summer movie night at the Hispanic Society! Inwood Art Works is screening “Ferdinand” on a giant screen at the Courtyard between155th an 156th Street on Broadway, preceded by a flamenco dance class and performance by Xianix Barrera Flamenico.
Programming:
6:00pm – Pre-show dance class and performance by Xianix Barrera Flamenico
7:00pm (approximately) – Feature Presentation of “Ferdinand” in Spanish with English subtitles.
After Ferdinand, a bull with a big heart, is mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure. Relax, connect with neighbors, and enjoy the warm summer night and this family favorite!
There are limited chairs available. We encourage you to bring a lawn chair and snacks.
What: Outdoor live famenco class and performance at 6pm. Movie screening at 7pm of Ferdinand.
