Bridging the Invisible Divide is a local artist exhibition and fundraising auction for Inwood Art Works that bridges “The Broadway Divide” presenting Northern Manhattan as a unified neighborhood.

Over 50 current or former Inwood and Washington Heights visual artists are featured in this stunning group exhibition of two-dimensional work. All works are up for auction and bids can be submitted until November 19 at 6pm.

There is an invisible divide that seemingly separates the social, political, racial, and religious worlds in Northern Manhattan. However, this “wall” is something that is created by and only useful to those who wish to divide people – neighbors, who in all actuality, are not so different.

Among these people, there are incredibly gifted and amazing artists that inhabit and represent all worlds both sides of the divide. Therefore, the focus of this exhibition is to celebrate and showcase local Inwood and Washington Heights visual artists in one communal exhibition; united through art.

In addition to, and during, the exhibition, Inwood Art Works will also be presenting live entertainment, artist brunches, and a cinema series at the pop-up gallery space. Check out the other events taking place at the Inwood Gallery below.
